Sunsetting legislation and the role of thematic reviews

What is a thematic review? Before legislation is due to sunset or ‘expire’, thematic reviews are used to identify whether legislation remains ‘fit for purpose’ or whether it should be remade with adjustments to ensure it can meet current and future needs.  Instruments are often grouped and their sunsetting dates altered to enable a combined review. Consumer engagement in aged care - resources released

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) has just released a new resource titled Care that is right for me - a resource for working with aged care consumers. HSR system Review - Public forums

Volunteer Management Activity Review - Survey now open

mpconsulting has been engaged by the Department of Social Services (the Department) to undertake a Review of the Volunteer Management Activity (VMA), formerly known as the Volunteer Management Program. Through the VMA, the Department funds volunteer support services to deliver support to both volunteers and the organisations they work with across Australia. Seeking your input - Volunteer Management Program Review
